Cap-only fonts created by Signature Strategies you can download for FREE.
The fonts displayed below were created by Signature Strategies as exercises in font development, particularly as they had relevance to logo design. Some have potential for headlines and
logos, others as initial caps, and some for special effect type treatments using graphics or imaging software. Most are incomplete in that numerals and punctuation may not have been generated. All are
TruType fonts (ttf). Download and use them as you will. Just click on a specimen to initiate the downloading.
Bent Bottom Caps gives the bottom the appearance of a shadow generated by the letters. By using a gradient fill (below), the effect is strengthened.
Just a font made from a simple geographic element.
This font is really two in one. The capital letters are broad-based and the lower case letters are narrow-based. They can be alternated as displayed below left, or
manipulated by a “font to curve” feature in a vector graphics program (we use Corel and XaraX) as shown below right. We created a variation with only a slight contrast between upper and lower case for a client’s exclusive use.
Just thought, what would happen if the serifs were reversed and become “rockers” instead of “feet”. We think it succeeds.
Here are two fonts that fulfill the need for a condensed, rounded san serif. Click each in turn if you want to download both.
Unusual face. It was an attempt to design a successful backward slant font. This wasn’t quite it, but if used in a vector program, you can outline the characters and layer them as demonstrated below.
This is more like it. By imposing round counters on essentially square-shaped letters, we’ve created a new font with contrast and character that makes it successful.
Another font we’re proud to have conceived. You’re welcome.
Just too obscure even for display applications, this font was to be used in a logo, but it didn’t work. This font would make unusual and distinctive initial caps. Don’t see any other application, but
with the right letter combinations it might serve as a logo or monogram.
Here’s a variation on the Bent Bottom font. It’s possible to do gradient fills as below and make an interesting and unique statement.
