Marketing Materials

Signature Strategies and its predecessor companies, Marketing Matters and Industrial Strength Advertising, have created marketing materials of all varieties for over twenty years.

We’ve produced brochures and flyers, application briefs and product data sheets, presentations and videos, print ads and commercials, newsletters and feature articles, exhibits and technical papers, sales manuals and presentation books, posters and signage, publicity releases and press kits.

Our philosophy is to produce materials prepared with the customer’s’ interests in the forefront. We believe readers and viewers should have learned something, achieved a measure of satisfaction from spending time with your materials. This usually means digging just a little deeper into the things most important to customers concerning your product or service.

And of course, we believe it necessary to propagate the notion of brand personality and positioning in every item customers and prospects are exposed to. Consistency builds identity, repetition builds credibility.

Below are some examples of literature designed and produced to engender a feeling of family while imparting information they can use. All were written as well as designed by Signature Strategies.

Hewlett Packaard marketing materials

A folder with four, four-page, four-color brochures for Hewlett-Packard workstation software for knowledge systems, aka “artificial intelligence’. Each featured a specific H-P associate and their contribution to this state-of-the-art promotion.

The graphic standards were developed by H-P and included illustration positioning, headline and subhead placement & font, logo size and placement.


These data sheets and folder were created for General Electric Ceramics. A family design produced a synergy for the entire line of substrates for hybrid circuitry.

Design standards were established with this material which included a second color, type font and a grid system. The masthead becomes a template for several types of literature.

CS Advocare marketing materials

Here is letterhead, business card and two different brochures for CS Advocare, a service primarily for seniors to cope with Medicare, insurance, bookkeeping and financial management paperwork.

There is a green leaf pattern for the logo and brochure panels that imparts a serene look, the promise of the services to take care of anxiety-creating issues.

When Signature Strategies was called in, the company was called C & S Administrators. Its brochure was green with a different leaf design. We stayed with a similar look, just upgraded it, so existing clients would not feel the company and its services had changed.


A complete set of  literature and stationery were designed following the naming and logo creation for this custom surgical instrument developer, Ideatrics. Costs were kept to a minimum in that all materials were printed in one-color only

Logo and positioning statement are always in the upper-right corner, literature titles are always a clean, modern but unique type face.

Here are examples of individual brochures developed for specific needs and budgets.

The CAMB brochure elicits membership in the Colorado Association of Mortgage Brokers.

The Gallagher-Byerly brochure explains the benefits and approach to establishing group employee benefit plans for industry and commercial associations and chambers of commerce.
