Packaging and Labeling

For the most part, packaging becomes a collaborative effort between Signature Strategies, the package maker and the client.

The designs may come from either Signature Strategies, the box provider or an in-house design function. Most often, the designs are based on graphic standards prepared by Signature Strategies and approved by the client. This is one of the benefits of establishing graphics standards: the most cost-effective approach to design can be utilized with consistent results.

Signature Strategies designed this package for The NameStormers as a self-mailer for their do-it-yourself naming software. The cover (not shown), manual and CD label all carry the same design theme, logo usage and type treatment. The back cover holds an address label plus copy with logos of other products and services.

Their Headliner software for slogan generation was designed in a similar fashion. They are “family” but each has a distinctive design and logo.
